What do you think and feel watching my daughter’s reaction?
My sons don't mind me engaging with them occasionally on screen, but they do not enjoy my coviewing as much as my daughter does. Do you also receive a mixed reaction from your children?
How do you feel when your children decline your offer for you to join them onscreen? For me it can sting, but I know all I can control is my offer. I recommend generally accepting our children’s “no” in these situations. It can be informative to gently ask for an explanation for their “no.”
